Glorify God through
songs of worship together
The Hallel Psalms
Psalms 113-118 are known as the Hallel Psalms (Hallel means “praise”). While many psalms praise God, this set of psalms focuses on the themes of deliverance that was brought about by the Exodus. These psalms were recited at Jewish feasts and especially while celebrating the Passover.
“Christ suffered once for sin” (1 Pet. 3:18).
“Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed” (1 Cor. 5:7).
We now have every reason to gather as often as we can to sing songs of “Hallel” to our glorious King!
