Cultivating a Healthy Fear of the Lord
One of the most incriminating comments the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Rome was a quotation of Psalm 36:1 which states, “There is no fear of God before their eyes” (Romans 3:18).
Fearing God is not optional, in fact Solomon said in Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge…” Anyone who names the God of the Bible as their God, must cultivate a healthy fear of the Lord.
