Joy of Living Bible Studies
Genesis Part 1 by Nancy J. Collins
Covers Genesis chapters 1-26. Genesis is the book of beginnings. It tells us about God’s creation of the heavens and the earth, and of all that is on the earth, including human beings—made in God’s image. Genesis relates the beginnings of sin and redemption, of society and civilization, and of marriage and family…
It gives the life stories of Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, telling of both their faith and their failures, and seeing God’s hand on their lives. The book of Genesis is the foundation for understanding God’s plan for our lives today.
When: Wednesday evenings beginning September 10 2025-April 2026
6:30pm-8:15pm.
Where: Education building, room 4

A “ Discover Your Bible Series”
Inductive study of 1st & 2nd Peter
As one of Jesus’ closest friends, Peter was neither cautious nor predictable. Even though Peter denies Jesus and often demonstrates fear and a lack of commitment, Jesus forgives this fisherman-turned-disciple and gives Peter a most important task: “Feed my sheep.” In these two letters, Peter feeds believers God’s word, prepares them to face persecution, and warns them of false teachers. Peter reminds us all how to live as a people belonging to God!
When: Wednesday mornings September 10 through April, 2026.
starts at 9:45am
Where: Education Building Room 4
